It Changes Everything
Today we hear more about the Father Heart of God and that is a good thing. Sadly, its expression and meaning is often restricted to an inner healing experience; we are repaired in order to go out and function more effectively. It is even trendy to talk about the Father’s love. However, this short changes us. It does not lead to us walking as Jesus walked. In fact, it pushes us further into a life of performance and seeking affirmation through our activity.
In this book, I ground some of these familiar expressions about God’s fatherhood in the Sonship of Jesus. As you read, you will discover that God has always been Father and you will see it is his eternal desire to be a Father to you. I describe a relationship rather than a function.
As we journey together I hope you will be challenged. I am not intending to criticise but I am hoping to provoke you. Through the provocation, I hope you will be inspired to see a similar change in your own life and to discover that ‘it’ too can change everything for you.
